This site is currently being converted to a database (mySQL and all that technical crap), to allow for an in-depth band listing of old skool DEATH METAL, thats right DEATH METAL! Scan-DM-Mania is exclusively a death metal site, and won't be featuring any other genres (unless bands happen to be relevant/cross over into the genre of DM). I think you'll find plenty of other resources online covering other aspects and genres of metal.

The emphasis will also be on 'old skool', being a bit of an old fart myself I'd like to concentrate on the founders and in my opinion the best examples of DEATH METAL. Use the forums to discuss new bands if you would like, but you will find little info on those newer acts on the main site when we're up and running. Other site features will be old zine interviews (including scans of the originals), a 'covers' section and plenty of links to 'like-minded' sites. Thats your lot, as its taken me long enough to get the band listings idea into a workable format, so I'm not going to stretch the limited time I have to work on this site adding unnecessary sections!
